While we want our products to exceed your expectations and strive to manufacture all of our textiles to a consistent specification, the nature of handwoven fabrics means that it can be sometimes difficult to accurately replicate the colour and handling qualities of fabric from batch to batch and there can be a slight variation. This is the beauty of handmade, artisan textiles. Also please understand that the photos provided may not represent the true color or nature of a particular item with one hundred percent accuracy. Therefore, we recommend you to request a sample before purchasing fabrics from our online store.
Cancellation Policy
The provision of goods and services is subject to availability. In cases of unavailability, we will refund the client in full within 15-20 days. We reserve the right to cancel an order for which payment has already been received. This may occur if stock is insufficient or the quality of goods ordered does not meet our standards.
- Should Anuprerna exercise this right, the user will receive a full refund with no deductions.
- You can cancel an order within 24 hours from placing an order.
- You can modify the shipping address of your order before we have processed (packed) it, by calling us on our customer care number.

If a product or produce does not substantially conform to the description, quantity and quality specified in the website, then you should make a complaint to

- Please provide details of the issue with the produce/ produce at the time of filing the complaint.
- If you have any doubt about the fabric you are ordering, please order a sample swatch
- Please courier, at your own cost, the item back to us within 10 (ten) days from its receipt by you. (One exception cases with substantial product issues, we'll arrange return/replace the items)
- Refunds will be made to you within 10 days of receipt of the returned goods, as long as you have followed all of the procedures and time frames above and below. Refunds will be made to your bank account or credit or debit card via Paypal.
IMPORTANT: Please note that the following items/Defects are non-refundable.
- Any item explicitly made to the customer's order that has been made to order (Unless there are weaving defects).
- Color reproduction on various digital screens vastly varies, hence there shall always be some gap between what you see online versus in real.
- Personalized items that are specially made or ordered, with your choice of name, fabric, message or other customized aspects
- Postage & packaging costs (if an item has already been dispatched).
- Some particular types of fabrics especially natural colored products might suffer inherent color bleeding for a few washes.
Exchange Policy
We will exchange your products in the unlikely event that you have received products which are damaged, defective or incorrect. please email us immediately at support@anuprerna.com within 5 days of receiving your goods. We will do our best to satisfy your request, but only on the condition that - you will need to comply with the following return/exchange policies: - The tags on the product should be intact.
- For Fabrics Color differences due to batch-to-batch variations does not count as defective or incorrect.
- Products must be returned in the same condition as received and sent back in their original packaging.
- Products must not be washed, ironed or altered in any way.
- Items for refund must be returned in excellent condition and in the original packaging, where appropriate, unless faulty.
- Any request of exchange shall be fulfilled subject to the availability of the product/ similar products in our inventory on the date of receipt of returned order/products.
Return/exchange procedure:
- Email us support@anuprerna.com including the order number, and the product number you wish to claim for a return/exchange.
- After receiving authorization to return/exchange products, you will need to send us the products within 10 days of receiving your order. Please scan the shipment receipt and send via email. Once we receive the fabrics/products, we will refund the shipping cost to your Bank/Paypal account.
International Orders
Please understand, we are operating from an artisan area, far from any metro city facilities with no nearby post office capable enough for international shipment. Although we ensure your order is dispatched at the earliest but some time due to unforeseen circumstances, it may require 2-5 workings days of processing time.
How long does it take to ship internationally?
- We only offering express options having tie-ups with multiple shipping partners including FedEx, DHL which would ideally delivery your product within 7-10 days.
Would there be any additional sales tax and import duties?
You may be subject to sales tax and import duties upon arrival of your goods depending on the shipping destination. All prices are exclusive of VAT (or Sales Tax) and import duties. It will be the shipment courier’s responsibility to collect VAT (or Sales Tax) and import duties upon arrival. You will be contacted by the courier service to arrange payments with them.
How many countries do we deliver internationally?
We have started delivering to internationally across almost all the countries.
What is the shipping rate for international orders?
We primarily use FedEx and other couriers like DHL/Aramex for international shipments. Or please share your FedEx/DHL account details for us to arrange delivery from here. Shipping Fees are calculated at the checkout based on the quantity & weight of your shipments.
If any shipment is unattended?
It is your responsibility to immediately respond to calls and emails from the courier service. If the shipment is unattended by the receiver, the parcel will be returned and you’ll have to pay for delivery once again. We’ll also notify you through message/email about such shipments.
What is the shipment unit size for large fabric orders?
For more than one unit of fabric, you will receive running length of the fabric and not in pieces. Due to the limitation of hand weave and hand wash, one fabric rolls/pieces maximum consists of up to 11 meters / 18 meters per unit.

Production Policy
Help us develop a sustainable approach to textile production by PreOrdering from our platform your favourite design thereby minimising waste and optimising In-stock inventory. With our in-house production unit & 300+ weavers spread across multiple clusters, we are equipped to produce our textiles any time in line with sustainable slow fashion process.
What is your typical sampling process and timeline?
- Once we receive the PO/Online orders with confirmed specifications/details, we need 2-4 days to confirm the lead time

- Usualy Lead time for textiles, fabric sampling quantity approximate 4-6 weeks. In the time of monsoon/festivals the lead time may increase by 1-2 weeks, because it’s impossible to control the nature and family & festivals are something our artisans really like to nurture!
- For additional services like fabric dyeing, hand / digital printing, it might take 1-2 weeks depending on the designs/quantities.
- For additional products like accessories, home furnishing products or apparels sampling, we’ll update you on the lead time within 2-4 days once we receive designs/detailed techpacks and the tentative quantities for productions.

What is the usual production process?
- Complete design specifications for fabrics / Detailed Techpacks for garments, Purchase order copy , or swatch reference original is must for us to proceed further
- To ensure the best possible results, we insist on dispatching swatches cuttings for approval. For any reference on our existing design, please order swatches for your hand feel and approval before confirmation. Courier charges and sampling charges for new designs need to be born by the buyer.
- If the order is being manufactured in a design or quantities specifically for you, unfortunately once production of that order has begun, we are unable to cancel it or refund your payment.
- For this reason, we require 50% advance on order confirmation and remaining 50% before shipment.
- We would be happy share first sample of the bulk production for your approval for remaining products. In case you feel that you re not satisfied with the final product due to substantial degradation quality, we would be happy to refund/exchange.

*In case you want to source in partial batches of the complete ordered quantity, we can dispatch it in multiple shipments as and when the batches are completed for quick turnaround.
What is the Payment Terms you follow?
- We can proceed with initial sampling and share the sales order with you. Once approved we would need 100% payment on sampling cost before delivery. Transport or any other sales tax/custom duties need to be born by the buyer.
- Once the sample is approved, 50% advance to be paid before proceeding the production. Remaining 50% to be paid before shipment. After we receive the remittance the order will be dispatched to you.

Can I cancel my Order?
Once your order is placed, you have 24 hours to cancel the order from your dashboard. we do our best to prepare it for shipment immediately. After 24 hours, the cancellation option would not be applicable anymore. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.
Will my product be available for reordering in the future?
All of our products will be available for reordering in the future most of the time, as we work with our weavers directly & regularly. In case a product goes out of stock, we can choose between two options

How much is the shipping fee and how is it calculated?
The shipping fee is calculated by the weight of the products. The more you order, the shipping fee will be less expensive per unit.

PreOrder Policy

Pre-orders are advance purchases made on existing items that are not immediately available or available in limited quantity or still in production when ordered. PreOrder to be placed with a minimum MoQs to meet the wholesale production need at a possible discounted price. The PreOrdered product is scheduled to be shipped at a future date considering the production timeline.
Where can I find the Estimated Date Of Delivery?
Each item available for pre-order will have its own specific estimated shipping dates which give a range of timeline within which Your PreOrdered items will be ready for shipping
How to fulfill a payment?
An Advance Payment is required at the time of placing the PreOrder and remaining balance to be paid upon shipping once your order is ready. You’ll be notified as soon as your order is ready, you can pay the remaining balance including the shipping cost and your order will be shipped.
Can I cancel a pre-order item?
If you have changed your mind about the product purchased in pre-order, you can easily cancel the item from our PreOrder dashboard within 24 hours from the purchase. From that moment on it won't be possible to cancel.
Can I amend my Pre-order?
It will be not possible to modify existing PreOrders. Although you can place a new PreOrder as soon as possible and notify us via email at support@anuprerna.com. We would do our best to combine and produce both orders together to maintain the exact quality and color aspects.
How long will it take to ship out my pre-order?
Waiting times vary from item to item and will be mentioned for each particular item. Please keep in mind that if you placed a PreOrder containing multiple PreOrder items, the whole order will be on hold and dispatched entirely upon ready.
What happens if I place a pre-order for multiple items that are scheduled to arrive at different dates?
If you want your items to ship as they become available, then you must order your items separately. Should you place the orders together we'll reserve the stock for you and ship them when all your items are ready for delivery. What if I order multiple items, can I combine in stock and pre-order items?
You need to place orders for in-stock and pre-order items separately. You won’t be able to add both in Stock and PreOrder items in the cart. If In Stock already added to cart, please clear the cart and add PreOrder and vice versa.
When a delay occurs and why?
The production sequence is linear, although mistakes and delays may occur due as we are driven by hand process than a fixed machine timeline. Health and Happiness of our artisans need some time priority over deadlines. In the unlikely event of a delay, our Customer Care will get in contact with you as soon as possible.
What happens if we fail to deliver the order within the estimated shipping date?
We will update you on the progress of your order in case there is an unfortunate delay. We will accept cancellations in case there is a delay beyond the stipulated timeline given for your Preorder and give you a full refund.
It is always advisable to order swatches of some fabrics before you decide on Pre orders. Once satisfied, you can order the same design or make any design/color changes on it as well. You can understand more about the process on our platform here.
