At Anuprerna, we believe that how we color our fabrics should reflect how we care —That’s why our dyeing practices are rooted in two guiding principles: natural dyes and low-impact azo-free dyes, with a strong commitment to safe, ethical, and traceable methods.

Here’s a closer look at how we bring vibrant, enduring hues to our handwoven fabrics — without compromising our values. We have set up our in-house custom dyeing unit strictly working with azo-free GOTS certified branded dye and natural dye options.

We strictly work with our Dyeable Artisanal Fabrics for this and don't provide any dyeing services to outside fabrics.

Natural Vegetable Dyeing

Our in-house dyeing studio works with GOTS and ISO-certified natural dyes, derived from plants, minerals, and herbs.

Anuprerna dyes, sourced from renewable plant and fruit extracts like indigo leaves, madder root, pomegranate rind, and iron salts — ingredients that have been used for centuries and are now being celebrated again by conscious designers worldwide.

We currently offer natural dyeing on a wide range of cotton, silk, khadi, linen, and handwoven blends. These fabrics not only look beautiful but also feel good to wear and work with.

Azo-Free Dyeing :

For designers seeking more vibrant shades, batch consistency, or Pantone-specific requests, we also offer azo-free dyeing options.

These are low-impact synthetic dyes free from harmful azo compounds — a safer alternative to conventional industrial dyes.

Whether you're working with a mood board, Pantone swatch, or cultural inspiration, our team can help you develop and match custom shades — using either natural or azo-free processes.

Azo-free dyeing is often preferred for activewear, loungewear, or home textiles that require reliable shade repetition without sacrificing safety.

Your Step-by-Step Guide :

Swatch & Sample Selection: Start by exploring our curated artisan fabric collections. Request swatches to feel texture, assess color, and check weight.

Order Confirmation: Once you finalize your selection and specifications (GSM, dye, quantity), place a preorder with an agreed MOQ (minimum order quantity).

Production Timeline:

Standard fabrics: Generally require 4–8 weeks production time.

Custom weaves or dyeing: May take 8–12 weeks depending on complexity.

We keep you updated at every stage with progress reports and estimated shipping dates.
