This is a pure cotton stripe fabric handwoven using white dyed green yarns in honeycomb weave. Mediumweight and soft, this textile is ideal for shirts or jackets as well as homeware like cushion covers & table napkins. Made of 100% natural material, it is sustainable and hypoallergenic.

The Handloom Jacquard is produced using a Jacquard machine attached to the traditional Handloom. The craft has seen a significant decline in recent years due to the use of powerlooms. Anuprerna is collaborating with Bengal weavers to revive the craft of Handloom Jacquard which is a more sustainable & ethical process. Anuprerna works with one Handloom Jacquard artisan cluster in West Bengal, India.

Wash all-natural fabrics by hand or by machine on a very gentle cold cycle, using ecological laundry products.

Please keep in mind that heat makes natural fabrics shrink a bit and that all fabrics get much softer after washing.

Beautiful quality fabrics - thrilled with the parcel that arrived. Purchased a number of different weight lengths of khadi for dyeing projects, but couldn’t resist including some stripes, checks and chambray. Great value and great quality. I’ll be back soon for sure.

A nice smooth fabric in the right colour with a bit of lustre which I'll use for something, but not the textured "raw silk" tussah I was hoping for. It is more the weight of a cotton lawn.
