Artisan Clusters

KHADI CLUSTER

Khadi is a term used for fabric that has been handwoven using yarns made by hand spinning natural fibre which is usually cotton but can also be silk or wool. Working with an array of different Khadi yarn, which requires a lot of experience, expertise and patience, has been a tradition for the artisans of Bengal.

Anuprerna, with a working relationship of 35+ years since its inception, has been involved with various expert Khadi Artisans across Bengal.
