This chambray beige khadi cotton is a lightweight 75 GSM handwoven fabric with a soft, breathable drape and a naturally textured character created by subtle slubs in the yarn. The muted beige tone makes it a versatile base for shirts, dresses, kurtas, blouses, kidswear, and relaxed summer silhouettes. It also works well for minimal home accents like sheer curtains or soft cushion covers.
As a true handwoven fabric, it offers gentle airflow, skin friendliness, and a comfortable feel even in humid weather. Prewash for a mild 2 to 4 percent shrinkage, stitch with a fine needle for clean seams, and wash on a cold gentle cycle to preserve its texture and color.
Washing: -Hand wash in cold water with mild detergent.
-Avoid long soaking; wash colors separately at first.
Drying: -Dry in shade, never wring.
-Lay flat or hang in a ventilated space.
Ironing: -Iron while damp for best results.
-Use medium heat (cotton Khadi) or low heat (silk Khadi).
Storage: -Store in muslin cloth, never plastic.
-Refold occasionally to avoid creases.
