The classic chambray effect comes from a colored yarn crossed with a lighter weft, giving quiet depth and natural slubs that read premium, not loud. Ideal for summer shirts, easy dresses, kurtas, blouses, stoles, kidswear, and airy home accents like sheers or cushion covers. 

It cuts cleanly, gathers well, and welcomes hand embroidery or block prints. Prewash to account for 2–4% shrinkage and consider a lining for very fitted or light-toned styles.
