This white & purple checked pure cotton fabric is handwoven for everyday comfort with a clear, balanced grid that feels classic without looking flat. At 55 GSM it is featherlight, airy, and softly translucent, making it ideal for warm-weather layers. The handloom weave gives it a soft, breathable hand with gentle texture and natural variation. The color combination gives the check enough contrast to stand on its own while remaining easy to pair with solids, denim, and neutral trims.
Use it for blouses, airy dresses, summer kurtas, scarves, dupattas, kidswear, and lightweight overlays; add lining for more opacity. Pre-wash before cutting to allow for natural shrinkage.
Washing: -Hand wash in cold water with mild detergent.
-Avoid long soaking; wash colors separately at first.
Drying: -Dry in shade, never wring.
-Lay flat or hang in a ventilated space.
Ironing: -Iron while damp for best results.
-Use medium heat (cotton Khadi) or low heat (silk Khadi).
Storage: -Store in muslin cloth, never plastic.
-Refold occasionally to avoid creases.
