    TIMELINE

    Process

Fabric selection and ordering for sampling takes 1-3 days, prototype development spans 1-2 weeks, fabric choice (bulk order or customization) occurs in 1-6 weeks, and wholesale production begins in 2-4 weeks. This streamlined process ensures a swift journey from fabric selection to wholesale manufacturing.

    HOW IT WORKS:

    1. START BY ORDERING SWATCHES:

Sample swatches of fabric give you an exact idea of the hand feel, weight and colours of the already available fabrics. Whereas for custom colour, Dyeable CottonKhadi (RFD) Swatchkit gives you an idea of the texture and weight of the fabric to help choose the right one for dyeing.

    2. CHOOSE YOUR FIBRE AND COLOUR:

You can also get custom textile made. First, you choose the fibre from a range of natural materials we offer like cotton, khadi, linen etc. You can then choose the craft or pattern along with custom yarn or piece dyeing and we will custom produce the textile for you. At our in-house dyeing studio, we offer you the options of Azo-free dyes as well as Natural Vegetable dyes.

    3. SAMPLE DEVELOPMENT & FINAL PRODUCTION:

For any custom product (be it custom textile handwoven by weavers, apparel, homeware or accessories), we will first develop a sample. Once the sample fabrics or/and products have been approved by you, we will move on to the bulk production of products.

    4. CAPTURE THE HANDMADE PROCESS:

We love to share snippets from behind the scenes of the production process behind our artisanal crafts to maintain transparency & create awareness about the artisans' story which you can share further.

    We do suggest sampling first.

There will be additional sampling charges for it, but it has many advantages. Once the sample is complete, we take your feedback to make any corrections, thus perfecting the pattern and knowing the exact fabric consumption and cost for production per unit of the product. This also prevents fabric wastage.
