    Chambray fabrics

Chambray is a cotton plain-weave pattern fabric made with a dyed warp yarn and a white filling yarn. While it may look like denim, chambray is lighter and is woven differently.

    STRIPES

Stripe pattern refers to bands, strips, or lines of different colors, evenly or unevenly spaced, appearing on the surface of the fabric. Striped cloth is usually warp-faced cloth but can be weft-faced too. Depending on the thickness of the band or gap, their arrangement, etc,.

    Different patterns of Check/Plaid fabrics

    CHECKS/PLAID

The terms "plaid” and “check” are used interchangeably, but these are two totally different types of surface patterns.

The term plaid refers to patterns inspired by Scottish “tartan” plaids. Check patterns are much simpler than plaids.  Checks are always symmetrical, consisting of crossed horizontal and vertical lines that form equally sized tiles. Popular handwoven check fabric patterns include houndstooth, gingham, windowpane, madras Checks, and more.

    FLORAL

The floral pattern consists of flowers or arrangements of flower-inspired motifs. It ranges from tiny to large-scale, realistic to abstract, casual to formal, and colorful to monochromatic. Depending on the style of the floral pattern, you can mix and match florals with just about any other pattern.

Depending on the technique floral pattern may be created by printing or by weaving like in the case of Jamdani fabric where the motif is woven into the fine fabric by the extra weft technique.

    Geometric Design fabrics

    GEOMETRIC

The term "Geometric" is a generic term for any design that incorporates geometric shapes, such as circles, squares, triangles, or ovals. The design might be symmetrical and regular, or quite abstract. Like floral, Geometric patterns are very popular in the Jamdani technique.

    POLKA DOTS

The cheerful, familiar polka dot pattern is an evenly spaced array of same-sized dots. It's extremely versatile and works well with most other patterns. A form of geometric pattern, this too can be commonly seen in Jamdani fabrics.

    Honeycomb Pattern fabrics

    HONEYCOMB

The term is applied to weaves that resemble honeycomb cells. The cellular formations appear square in the cloth.

    HERRINGBONE & CHEVRON

Chevron is a pattern of zigzagging stripes, typically in two alternating colours. The herringbone is similar to a chevron but differentiated by the breaks between the zigs and the zags.

    Abstract Printed Fabrics

    ABSTRACT

Abstract fabric designs are those that lack a concrete motif and subject matter. These designs are often rich in overlapping textures and tones, creating a sophisticated look. The lack of a recognizable motif means they can transition into different interior styles easily. For example, the unique Batik pattern formed by the cracked wax surface or the exclusive Shibori pattern.

    OBJECTS & FIGURE

Objects in the case of patterns refer to motifs inspired by real-life objects or figures. These motifs can be in a variety of hues and sizes and can be arranged in different pattern to create a unique design.
