Dry Clean
Elevate your sustainable creations with our Plain Natural Matka & Eri Silk Blend, an ethereal 88 GSM Handwoven Fabric. Designed for ethical and sustainable designers, its Natural Gold hue speaks of purity. The warp, Matka Silk, and weft, Eri Silk, combine in perfect harmony, creating a fabric that's light as air. The plain pattern and lightweight nature make it ideal for skirts, shirts, casual pants, and quilts. Embrace the versatility of this fabric, extending its use to lightweight curtains, blouses, dresses, flowy scarves, and eco-conscious kidswear. Craft with conscience, style with sophistication.
Washing:
-Use cold water and a few drops of a mild, pH-neutral detergent.
-Do not soak for long—silk weakens when left in water.
-Wash gently without rubbing or wringing.
Drying:
-Never wring or twist silk to remove water. Lay flat on a clean towel and roll to absorb moisture.
-Dry in shade, away from direct sunlight, which can cause fading. Avoid tumble dryers.
Ironing:
-Iron on low heat (silk setting) while still slightly damp. Place a thin cotton cloth between the iron and the fabric.
-Use steam lightly to remove wrinkles—avoid direct spray of water.
Storage:
-Wrap in muslin, avoid plastic covers.
-Keep in a cool, dry place. Refold periodically to prevent permanent creases.

The quality of this material is beyond amazing! Words cannot express how beautiful this fabric is. The color is bright, the pattern is consistent and the feel is very soft to touch. I will be a repeat customer for years to come.
